This route takes place in an area full of caves and caverns called Grotte di Frasassi with arrival at Monte Frasassi (709m). The first part of this itinerary takes place on the paved road from San Vittore to Pianello along the Sentino River. From Rosenga onwards, the trail immerses itself in nature until it returns to the starting point. The Frasassi Caves can be visited upon reservation.

Late in 1972 "Consorzio Frasassi" was born with the aim of protecting and utilising the caves and the territory where they were found. The Society was constituted between Genga Town Council and the Province of Ancona.
